The House of Blues in Los Angeles
is just one of many House of Blues locations across the country, though it
may be considered the premier location.
A multi-faceted venue, the House of Blues in Los Angeles offers a
little something for everyone to enjoy. A combination club, lounge
restaurant, and concert venue, the House of Blue in Los Angeles is a unique
location to get in touch with the music scene, as well as to get a taste of
authentic southern cuisine. The
restaurant and bar make up a juke-joint atmosphere where you can relax and
try some New Orleans style seafood gumbo or maybe some Bayou fried shrimp,
served with cheddar cheese grits with spinach and chipotle tomato gravy. The Foundation Room is a
members-only secluded club area that is elegant and perfect for
entertaining, whether personally or professionally.
Any member has privileges to all Foundation Rooms (a portion of your
membership fee is used to support the International House of Blues
Foundation). The Music Hall at the House of
Blues in Los Angeles is always jamming, with popular international artists
booked almost nightly. All
kinds of music can be heard here, from popular artists like the Goo Goo
Dolls, to retro acts like the Violent Femmes, to smooth R&B artists like
Isaac Hayes. Check out the Gospel Brunch at the
House of Blues in Los Angeles, featuring a live music show and dining
experience. The menu is an
all-you-can-eat buffet, southern style, with different gospel groups perform
on stage live every week. Seating
times are 10:00am and 1:00pm. Food
includes muffins, bagels, salads, biscuits and country gravy, omelets,
waffles, grits, southern fried chicken, salmon, turkey breast, and desserts
like peach cobbler. For
something a little different, try the crawfish cheesecake with pita bread. Overall, the House of Blues in Los
Angeles offers a mix of entertainment for those looking for a relaxed,
comfortable place to spend an evening. |
